The Butts family moved to Fort Wayne from Norfolk, Virginia in 1999. Pastor Wallace accepted the position of Executive Director for the Love Community Center in 2008 and was later offered a job as Outreach Pastor of the Love Church. He developed and implemented the position of Executive Pastor in 2010 and became Senior Pastor of Love Church at the beginning of 2012. Before Love Church Ministries, Pastor Wallace spent over two decades in an information technology career. During which time he founded a home church called Kingdom Builders Fellowship, which later merged with Love Church in 2010. Pastor Wallace is married to his best friend Carla she's been a stay at home mom, a homeschool teacher, and is growing in her career as a bookkeeper. They have five adult children and a son-in-love (Walkena (Kellen), Wallace Jr., Micah, Darius, and Imani. They are blessed with three grandchildren, Aaliyah, Kellen Jr., and Zion
Andy understands the family problem...he lived it! Andy's time as a prison inmate brought him first hand into the lives of broken men who needed Christ before they could even begin to try and rebuild the families that they had broken. Andy's story and his ministry to those coming out of incarceration will inspire and challenge everyone to Go and be used in the Kingdom.
Paula Kaufman is an entrepreneur and successful businesswoman. Her passion to help women at risk with a desire for a new and better path led to the creation of Out of a Jam, Inc. As a successful employer, Paula learned firsthand how businesses struggle to find and keep good people especially those companies involved in the culinary industry. Her 8 week curriculum prepares students to excel in the workforce and to become better in every aspect of their lives. Paula will challenge you and give everyone tools they can use to make a difference.
You've seen him on TV and his wit and talent on stage is highly sought after. Curtis is the Corporate Director of Community Engagement at Parkview Hospital and an amazing man of faith. He is our only returning member of Fortify 2018 and we are blessed to have him again this year.
Rev. Patrick Riecke, M.A., is the Director of Chaplaincy and Volunteers and Chairperson for the Ethics Committee at Parkview Health. He has over 20 years of ministry experience in churches and healthcare. He is the author of two books; How to Talk with Sick, Dying, and Grieving People: When There are no Magic Words to Say, and 101 Ways to Find Meaning in Suffering. He holds a B.A. in Bible and Preaching from Johnson University and an M.A. in New Testament from Cincinnati Bible Seminary. Patrick also leads a local clergy initiative which hosts connecting events for hundreds of local faith leaders from across denominational lines. Patrick and his wife, Kristen, have four children.
